Fistula Treatment Options: Laser, VAAFT, Ksharsutra and Surgery Compared

Quick answer: simple, low fistulas are often cured by fistulotomy with high success. Complex or high fistulas that pass through more sphincter muscle are treated with sphincter-saving methods such as laser (FiLaC), VAAFT, seton or ksharsutra, LIFT or flaps.
